ENDLESS NIGHT VAMPIRE BALL HITS SIN CITY!
So Vegas has everything, right? Well, it does now! With the first Annual Endless Night Vampire Ball taking over the Artisan Hotel, Vampire’s like myself, truly have a home base! I spent hours on the internet searching for my darkness wear for the event. And since it would be my first, I really didn’t know what to expect! Many people do not know that “Interview With A Vampire” is one of my favorite movies and I couldn’t help but hope I would meet my “Louis de Pointe du Lac (played by Brad Pitt)” or Armand (played by Antonio Banderas) at this cool event.
After all ,I never get up until after 4pm and when the sun rises, I run and hide. I have been that way all my life. My closet is completely black and I thought it would be fun to meet other people who might share my lifestyle.
I got there at 8pm on Saturday on April 28th, I was told I was too early but they let me go wait in the bar area. When I got to the bar, I saw one person who I asked: “Are you one of the guests or do you work here?” To which the man replied: “Aren’t you Sally Steele?” As it turns out Eric Gallagan and I had met year’s ago when he played drums for the band ” Leo Starwind and The Raft”. We chatted up a storm and Eric and I both were working on filming events and interested in the paranormal. Eric was even part of an exorcism at one time. I was excited to meet someone who might be interested in going with me to LA to film in some cemetery’s, but Eric was waiting on his true love to appear so I made myself scarce and had some delicious fettuccine at the hotel restaurant. I asked them to hold the garlic – after all I AM a real vampire!
The pool party was in full swing with some real life amazing characters including a costume contest. I also ran into many people that I didn’t know or recognize who said “Sally Steele is here” or “Hi Sally”. I was looking forward to meeting Father Sebastiaan, who hosted the event. I asked
fit a certain amount of people. I took a seat in the back of the chapel where it was very dark. At the front of the chapel, a naked woman was laying on a table at the front as Father Sebastiann announced: “We will be experiencing a joint ritual. If you do not wish to participate, please exit now”. With that about four scared people exited the chapel. We were all asked to join hands and to not break the chain. But all of a sudden, I was consumed by hot flashes and sweat and had to take off my long velvet coat. This upset the people beside me because I broke the chain and the lady whose hand I was holding as well as theirs, took someone else’s hand and I held up my phone to film with my other hand. What can I say? I’m a bad Satanist! I cannot divulge what took place at this ceremony that would only happen once! It’s a secret! Or you will just have to watch my dark footage when I edit my footage of this event hee hee…
I took photos and filmed many great people with costumes as we all filed out to the pool for the “Howling at the moon”. Father Sebastiaan asked if anyone was filming and I raised my hand before Father said: “And now live on Pentagram – I mean Instagram…” (okay he did NOT say Pentagram ha ha) and he proceeded the countdown for all of us vampires to howl at the midnight moon of Las Vegas.
This was definitely a very entertaining event that has found a welcome audience and home here in Las Vegas and I look forward to howling at the moon with all my new vampire friends next year!
Special thanks to Victor Magnus for issuing me a photo pass at the last minute!
