CELEBRITY CHARITY ROCKS AT KISS WORLD!
Congratulations to Micki Free and Heather Roberts for a successful event for their charity!
The Celebrity Mini-Golf Charity event with “The Shirts against The Blouses” took place at KISS World featuring KISS Mini Golf. The event launched “The Musical Beginning Foundation”, which aims to provide musical instruments to children in underserved communities, helping them develop skills that foster creativity, social connection and emotional well-being.
I was honored to be invited to participate in this exciting event! So many celebs and music artists came out to support including Phil X, Jeremy Spencer, Mitchell Schnieder, Count’s 77 with Stoney Curtis, John Zito, Barry Barnes and Jeff Tortora, Bruce Kulick (and his high voltageshirt!), Eric Singer, Todd Kerns, John Kats, Allistar James, Phil Soussan, Brent Fitz, Lonn Friend, Ava Berman, Carlos Adley, Alex Grossi, Lark Williams, Les Warner, Peter Summit Ross and so many more!
My great teammates to compete in the miniature golf tournament were Les and Carmen Warner and Peter Summit from Crashing Wayward. We were very serious at the start of the game but with me I quickly became “Happy Gilmore” cussing at that little ball that would just not go in that damn hole! After about 4 or 5 holes, Carmen and I went to the bar where the food was. I’d had enough of the game and we left it up to Les and Peter to finish our games LOL.
And speaking of the food- I picked the wrong day to go on a diet! Lindy Lu’s Kitchen Catering was AMAZING! Those were absolutely the best meatballs I have ever tasted in my life! And the mini pancakes from Peaches Mini Pancakes were the best I have ever eaten! I started off with one little pancake and ended up with 6!
The only bad news was I had trouble recognizing some of the guests who I have known for a long time which included Brian Saliba from Smash Magazine and Jeremy Spencer formally with Five Finger Death Punch! And even worse I didn’t recognize Eric Singer from KISS even though I have seen him three times in the past year! I had to ask Bruce Kulick who he was! How embarrassing! He always wears his hair back but it was down so maybe that is where the confusion was. But fortunately he forgave Sally “Concrete” as he always calls me LOL.
And Trophies were handed out at the end of the games with Stoney, Barry, John and Jeff taking first place for the game and Best Shirt award went to Tami Grossi! Trophies were also announced for Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley.
Other sponsors who made the event a success were Food and Beverage Magazine, Mysterious Music, Backstage Bar and Billiards, Adam Rains created the “Shirts and Blouses Cocktails”, Need Merch sponsored the Tee Shirts, Bob Diehm from Guitar Center donated/sponsored two guitars that the guests signed and Bruce Kulick also donated a guitar for the cause. Credit goes to Mitch Schnieder for all he did to promote and run the Red Carpet for the event! And special thanks of course to Christina Vitagliano and Patrick Vitagliano for sponsoring and bringing the event to their SPECTACULAR KISS World Mini-Golf!
So congratulations for such a super fun event Micki Free and Heather Roberts! I look forward to the next one!
