BILLY IDOL ROCKS THE PEARL!With only one more performance left in his residency at the Pearl Theater Inside of the Palms Hotel Casino. Billy Idol rolled a seven for the packed house tonight, opening up his show with his rendition of “Viva Las Vegas”.”Cradle Of Love”, and “Flesh For Fantasy” followed with an hour and a half of non stop Idol favorites. Songs included “Can’t Break Me Down” , “Eyes Without A Face” , And “Rebel Yell” With a very touching moment during his performance quieting the crowd when he told the audience a short story about his dad’s love for his music. And dedicating “Ghosts In My Guitar” to his father that had passed away in 2014.Guitar Rockstar Virtuoso Steve Stevens Was Under the spotlight standing alone with his rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.  Later Steve and Billy shared the spotlight together near the end of the show with their Encore performance, acoustic lead in Introduction Of “White Wedding” With “Mony Mony” as their curtain call finale .Billy Idol and his band left the fans wanting More More More ..I just couldn’t resist the song lyrics pun on that one ..

Sporting punk rock looking designer jeans, black boots, and a skull embroidered blue jean jacket, and his trademark turned up lip.

Billy Idol must be drinking from the fountain of youth! Still with the same trademark voice and strong vocals. And with the swagger of a seasoned Rockstar. To me this Rockstar’s look and performance hasn’t aged a bit since the last time I saw him in concert more than a few years ago.. I’ve got to give out kudos to the Pearl Theater and Palms Hotel Casino. When we arrived there must have been a few hundred people in line to get into the Pearl Theater.

 The security was very fast in screening the fans as they entered the venue. The staff and security was really friendly and courteous. And the bartenders were really friendly and fast on the draw ..(Draw Beer That is) .. We were on the standing room floor level. Like five feet from the stage.The lighting and sound system was excellent. What A way to see a concert ! No wonder why the Pearl Theater has won so many awards for Best Concert Venue In Las Vegas !

Not to worry. If you missed Billy Idol this time In Las Vegas. He’ll be back March 6th through March 14th of next year at the Pearl Theater once again … See you there!
